Product Description
The Rapid Response™ COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test Cassette - At Home is a rapid test for the detection of COVID-19 antigens in nasal swab samples. It is an in vitro immunochromatographic assay to be used with nasal secretions from individuals suspected of COVID-19 within 7 days of symptom onset.
This test is authorized for non-prescription home-use with self-collected, unobserved direct anterior nasal (nares) swab samples from individuals aged 14 years or older or with anterior nasal swab samples from individuals aged 2 years or older when collected by an adult in a non-laboratory setting.
IF YOU HAVE A:
POSITIVE RESULT
SELF-ISOLATE and contact local State or Territory health department for guidance on confirmatory testing (PCR) and necessary isolation requirements for you and close contacts.
NEGATIVE RESULT
This is not a guarantee that you do not have COVID-19. If clinical symptoms persist or in a high risk setting or an occupational risk environment, it is recommended to test again with a new test in 1-3 days.
VOID (Invalid) RESULT
This could mean that the test has not run correctly, and it is not possible to say if you had the virus when the test was done. You need to use another test from the pack as soon as possible. Do not reuse anything from the first test and start the test procedure from step 1.
